Two students working together

STUDENTS

The Berkeley-Columbia Network
Your network begins with your class and quickly expands. Among your classmates you’ll find doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, engineers, scientists, bankers, accountants, marketers and more. Activities such as the International Seminar multiply your connections, and through the alumni network, you gain immediate contact with graduates of both business schools.

Growing your resources—geometrically
The most successful students learn to draw on the strength of the entire community. There is geometric progression to growth in this program: working with your study group of 4 or 5; connecting with dozens of your classmates at school functions; getting to know many of the hundreds of students in other programs at both schools; or allying with the massive alumni network of two premier business schools.

“We had sessions where 20 to 30 of us gathered and students led one another in study,” says Emily Watkins, MBA ’06, “or people with their own companies gave us a review session in strategy. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn from people with impressive backgrounds.”
